An opportunity to meet, share and connect with others, while enjoying some good food (and coffee!).
10am - 1pm at the Youth Room at the Wale Road location. 1st Friday of each month, starting March 6/2009.
BACK TO BATOCHE DAYS
July 22, 2009- July 26, 2009
Traditional Métis cultural events including jigging, square dancing, fiddling, voyageur games, bannock making and Métis arts and crafts. “Back to Batoche” is a family tradition for many Métis people and an important part of their annual summer vacation. It is a time to reconnect with their culture; meet family and old friends, pass on traditions and culture to their children and grandchildren. Evening dance with music provided by Métis artists from across Canada.
Adults, Seniors, Youth - $10 a day
Children 12 and under are Free
All Activities are Free with paid gate admission
