Can a cash donation be targeted to Metis education or is it a general fund?

Usually the donation would go into a general fund.

However if there was something specific you would like to see the donation go towards we are open to discussing this with you.

Thank you for your posting.
We have a genealogy package that can be filled out and then research is done to find family names.

Do you live on Vancouver Island? If so you can come and meet us at the office- 345 Wale road- or we can mail out the package to you if it hard for you to come in at this time.
If you do not live on the Island, I can help direct you towards others that can help.

Pam - Metis Card

Hi,

I was born in Alberta but I have been a resident of BC for the past 7 years. I left Alberta before I was able to get my Metis card. I am wondering if I am still eligible to get it now even though it will be through BC. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
